HTC HD2 now available in UK thanks to Vodafone
HTC’s latest WinMo device has been released in the UK, via network provider Vodafone
The HD2 - which boasts a seriously nippy Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch touchscreen and 5 megapixel camera - is currently only available via a contract.
The hardware itself is being offered at no cost, but the really eye-watering part is the terms of the available contracts. The cheapest option is £35 a month, but for that you’ll need to sign your life away for next two years.
If you value your mobile freedom then you can opt for the slightly less restrictive 18 month option, but predictably the monthly fee goes up to £40.
With no Pay As You Go option in sight, you’re going to have to make a hard choice if you want to stay on the forefront of Microsoft’s Windows Mobile revolution.
Remember - you can survive with just one kidney. Not that we’re trying to put ideas into your heads, obviously.
