Moving tower defence sequel Guns ‘n’ Glory WW2 out now on Android Market for free
Freedom isn't free, but this is
HandyGames has unleashed its sequel to the Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning Guns ‘n’ Glory on Android for free today, bringing its own brand of strategic cartoon violence back for a second serving.
Like its predecessor, Guns ‘n’ Glory WW2 is a ‘moving tower defence’ game (a term I just made up), in that your ‘towers’ are in fact people and tanks capable of wandering to new areas when you demand it.
And you’ll need to, as enemies come thick and fast from all directions, all aiming to take down your three bases before you get enough firepower in place to stop them.
More guns, more gloryThis rare sequel from the German developer expands upon the first game’s concepts by adding a number of new features, including the ability to purchase troops mid-game, that should have veterans of the series scratching their noggins.
You can take a peek at these new features in more detail by checking out my preview of the game from August.
As with all HandyGames releases, Guns ‘n’ Glory WW2 is free to download, with the option to buy in-game currency via in-app purchases should you not want to sweat it out on the battlefield [download].
