PS Vita version of Gran Turismo mentioned in Sony survey

Sony appears to be testing the water regarding potential fan interest in a PS Vita version of Gran Turismo.

According to IGN reader Adam Latham, the hardware and software giant is shopping around a questionnaire which hints at the possibility that the hugely successful driving franchise might be gearing up for its Vita debut.

"You told us earlier how interested you would be in buying the PS Vita version of the latest Gran Turismo game," the questionnaire prompts.

"Knowing that you might be able to get a discount on the PS3 version of the game, how interested are you now in the PS Vita version?"

Two-for-one

The discount in question refers to another aspect of survey, which explores the possibility of PlayStation Plus members getting the Vita port of a given game free whenever they download the PS3 version.

Though these questions are describing hypothetical scenarios, we can't help but wonder whether Sony has something fast, noisy, and beautiful waiting to race out of the pit lane and on the Vita.

Sony has been contacted regarding the PlayStation Plus offer and Gran Turismo Vita, but has yet to respond.
