Do you dig Paul McCartney? VR music? This news story is for you. Paul McCartney will bring fans uncomfortably close to him in the only way that doesn't result in a takedown by a personal security detail and a restraining order: virtual reality.

He's releasing a six-art series of VR experiences created to support the June 10th release of "Pure McCartney" not as it first appears to be, an unfortunate misspelling of his first name, but actually a retrospective album taking a look at the music of his career after the dissolution of the Beatles.

McCartney is collaborating with VR producer-publisher Jaunt to create 6 segments that'll explore a handful of songs on the new album in a 360-degree video format. The first two segments are launching today, we'll get another on May 31, June 7t, June 10th and June 14th.

These are filmed in McCartney's private home studio and it promises fans the ability to "embark on a personal journey" with the ex-Beatle as he recounts memories and anecdotes from a lifetime in music.

The VR segments will supposedly blend high-resolution video content with digitally remastered sound and you'll be able to check it out on the Jaunt VR app which you can get on… pretty much all of the VR headsets.

Okay, I'll list them. For the SEO, you understand. iOS, Android, Gear VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Desktop 360 formats.
