There's been a flood of VR announcements and updates from Google I/O today, and there's bound to be a few more of them over the next few days. The most exciting for day 1 though, is the announcement of Google's new VR headset Daydream and its own motion controller.

What about games though? One of the less noticed part of the keynote is that there were some individual titles were shown, one of which was a teaser for CCP Games follow up to GunJack, EVE: Gunjack Next

The team behind Gunjack have been hard at work bringing the title from the Samsung Gear to the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR but it seems they've also been busy with a follow up that'll be coming to the Google Daydream, and probably most of the other headsets, too.

No real world on what they'll be doing with the game so far, but chances are they'll take advantage of the motion controller packaged with the Daydream to do a little more with the game than Gunjack's "point and shoot" gameplay, but CCP have really engaged with virtual reality with two games already released from their E.V.E universe that are exclusively for VR. Whatever they're working on, it's bound to be fun.
