Wanna be a Golf Superstar, and live large?

Gamevil has announced its latest mobile game, Golf Superstars 2008. It's designed to appeal to a mainstream audience of players, rather than hardcore golf nuts.

So, the controls have been kept as simple as possible, and the graphics veer towards an Everybody's Golf-style cartoony feel, rather than ultra-realism.

The game will feature a selection of characters to play as, each with their own abilities. And there'll be a range of special items to unlock by winning tournaments to keep your interest up.

And there's cacti. Respect for that.

We'd love to play it. The only problem is that Gamevil currently focuses on Asia and North America but doesn't have a presence here in Europe. Perhaps some friendly European publisher could snap Golf Superstars 2008 up for distribution here.
