Sony Pictures Television announces 14 new mobile games

Sony Pictures Television has announced that it will release 14 new mobile games in North America this year.

There is no mention of European releases, but we'd expect a few of them will make it to handsets this side of the pond via Sony Pictures Europe or perhaps another publisher – especially since the titles include a mobile version of God of War: Betrayal, which you can very shortly hear more about in our exclusive preview.

Indeed, Sony Pictures Europe has already released one title on the list here: Spider-Man 3, a 2D side-scrolling movie tie-in. Its US counterpart also talked about Spider-Man Puzzle, a casual match-'em-up title.

Other games announced include a 2007 edition of the mobile Jeopardy! game, featuring new controls and five different modes. Then there are two automotive titles; Jump That Car, a simple sounding game where players drive, bounce and rally a buggy around hilly landscapes, and Snoop Dogg Cruisin', which sees players trying to convince the amusingly-named rap star of their driving skills.

None of the remaining eight titles have been named as of yet.
