We do love the Zeemote – it's what mobile games were made for. But we're still waiting for more games to be developed with the awesome mobile controller in mind.

Fortunately, Sprimp has stepped in with Glide Factor – a new racing game with specific Zeemote JS1 support.

Glide Factor looks a lot like a vertical scrolling shmup, only without the 'sh' part. The clean and simplistic graphics and basic gameplay might not fair too well on an ordinary handset (not wanting to sound cruel, but the gameplay video below isn't exactly blowing our skirt up), but factoring in Zeemote support makes it a whole different matter.

The extra slick controls of the external thumbstick could be exactly what Glide Factor needs to really unlock its potential, so we'll be keeping a beady eye on its progress.

Slide over the 'Track It!' button for more Glide Factor news as we get it, and check out the vide below while imagining the Zeemote in your hand – it makes all the difference.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
