Gas Tycoon is heating up App Store
Lighter than air
This could just be a Western European take, but there's something rather political about a game called Gas Tycoon coming out of an Eastern European developer such as Lemico Soft.
After all, the past couple of winters have seen Russia and Ukraine arguing about gas prices and as part of that argument, cutting off supplies further down the Russian-Ukrainian-European gas pipeline.
Of course, politics don't have any part to play in Gas Tycoon.
You are 'saving the private sector from freezing' by 'restoring the natural gas supply from the gas station to each home'.
Gameplay-wise, it's Pipe Mania by another industry.
The rules are simple.
Click on a pipe or a house to rotate it. All houses must be connected to the gas station. All pipes must be interconnected by the end of the level.
The less moves and rotations you make, the higher your score. At least, the game isn't time based so you don't have to make decisions under any stress.
Gas Tycoon is available now, priced 99c, €0.79 or 59p. Hit the Buy It! link to go direct to the App Store. Or click here to get the free Lite version.
