If you're one of those game-playing naysayers who constantly bemoans the iPhone's lack of physical controls, 60beat's new GamePad peripheral could be for you.

This controller, which plugs into the 3.5-mm headphone jack on the iOS device of your choice, sports a D-pad, dual-analogue joysticks, ten different "action" buttons, and an ergonomic design for "superior comfort and control". That enough buttons for you?

Oh, and you don't even need batteries. That's pretty handy.

The catch

Unfortunately, the controller suffers from the same problem as many other iOS controller peripherals: a lack of compatible games. Currently, only two titles - Bugdom 2 and Aftermath - work with 60beat's hardware.

If that little nugget of info - and the controller's $49.99 price tag - hasn't put you off, be sure to check out the GamePad in action below.

You can grab one by heading over to 60beat's website.
