Galaxy Apollo to be Orange exclusive mid-range device
Not quite as good as we thought
We reported earlier that Samsung was bringing a new Android-powered handset to the UK market. We've now learned that the handset will be an Orange exclusive, with the device cropping up as 'Coming Soon' on the operator's website.
However, while we initially thought that the Galaxy Apollo would be a close relative of the South Korea-only M100S, it turns out it won't be quite as impressive.
The M100S features a 3.7-inch screen and a 5MP camera, but the Orange site has the Galaxy Apollo i5801 down as a 3.3-inch device with a 3MP camera.
This seems to put it more in line with the Galaxy Portal, suggesting that the Apollo will priced as a mid-range device.
