GDC '09: Zen Bound dev Secret Exit working on new title with ngmoco
Makers of platinum-scoring hits Zen Bound and Rolando team up for original game
Speaking to a packed crowd during the opening session of Game Developers Conference, ngmoco CEO Neil Young revealed a development agreement with Secret Exit. The developers behind critical darling Zen Bound are working with ngmoco on an unspecified title.
"Zen Bound is the most gorgeous game on the App Store," praises Young during his announcement of the deal. ngmoco will publish the title, while Secret Exit will retain development duties for the game.
Exactly how intimately involved ngmoco will be in the game's development wasn't something Young explained, although he made it clear that the two are collaborating on the project.
ngmoco, which released the iPhone's first platinum-scoring game Rolando in December, joins Secret Exit as the only two game-makers to have released titles earning the honour. Needless to say, a cooperative effort on the part of these accomplished designers is certain to be worth keeping tabs on.
