First released on WiiWare, and since in development for DSiWare and other mobile platforms, Gamelion's bouncy physics platformer Furry Legends is now out for Android. A bada release is also planned.

The gameplay is based around rolling and jumping your furry character through the various levels by manipulating bridges, falling stones, rotating elevators etc, as well as collecting gems, jumping over spikes, and unlocking special abilities that allow you to enter new areas and fight evil triangles.

Covering all bases

"It was very challenging to bring the same amount of fun and playability to mobile, as we've delivered in the WiiWare version," said game producer Wojciech Wronowski.

"During the design iterations, we aimed to provide innovative in-game features, such as advanced physics puzzles and fun combat system. Now, when looking at the completed version, I believe we succeeded."

Demonstrating the fragmentation of the platform however, the release has been split into a high-end version and a version subtitled 320x480 for standard resolution devices.

Both are priced at $1.99 and free Lite versions are provided for each.

Furry Legends is out now on the Android Market. You can see how it plays in the following video.
