Coming from the developer best known for No More Heroes on the Wii, Grasshopper’s first game for iPhone and iPad may be somewhat surprising.

Frog Minutes invites you to take a few minutes out of your life in order to appreciate nature’s simplicity and beauty.

The aim of the game is to collect different types of insects and amphibians that populate the game’s hand-painted environments. You can learn about the creatures you've caught by listening to the fully voiced in-game encyclopaedia.

Although there are Game Center achievements, the only stated goal of Frog Minutes is to "experience the healing power of nature." Quite.

The game is available on the App Store as a universal app for 59p/99c. Though there's nothing about it in the App Store description, according to Joystiq all proceeds will go to Japan earthquake relief.
