Another Friday, another morning spent sifting through the wastes of the internet looking for freebies with only a mug of lukewarm tea for company. It's a glamorous life, but someone's got to do it.

So what have we got for you? Well, quite a bit actually. Beginning, as is our custom, on the PSP, this week's first freebie is a demo that is entirely in Japanese. High five! Anyone? The game is called Neo Angelique Special and you can get it from the PSP Demo Centre.

As for what it's about, well, there are so many games about nearly naked teenage girls with angel wings and blue hair in Japan that despite our extensive knowledge of all things gaming we had to turn to trusty old Wikipedia for an explanation of what this title is all about.

Apparently it's a dating sim/adventure game which presumably means you play an impossible-breasted blue haired sylph who goes on a perfectly innocent blind date, only to find out halfway through that her date is actually a mech/samurai/demon/pirate/dragon creature disguised as a twinkle eyed metrosexual and that the whole set-up wasn't actually a blind date at all, but a diabolical scheme for said creature to gain supreme control of the cosmos. And you are the only one who can stop it, or something…

It's probably not about that, but it is a dating sim/adventure game and it does star a scantily clad blue haired floozy. Make of it what you will (assuming you can speak Japanese).

Moving on, for the DS this week we've discovered something a bit different. If you've ever felt the desire to create your own DS game icon (which is a cool extra option for a selection of DS games, such as Mario Kart DS for example), the you probably ought to pay DSicons a visit.

It's a site dedicated to creating DS icons, and though you have to pay for most of the wares peddled on the site there's a great little section called the DS Icon Vault where you can view a huge list of custom icons, each with a nice little three-step diagram of how you can recreate the icon yourself. Told you it was something different. It will require a bit of patience and, granted, this is a freebie that you sort of have to make yourself, but the instructions are free.

Lastly, we've added three new demos to the N-Gage section of our Demos section. They are Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Bounce Boing Voyage and Brothers in Arms which are all pretty action-packed titles and should be more than enough to keep your thumbs busy until next week.

That's it for now. If you're still not satisfied, do pay a visit to the Freebie Archive and even if you are satisfied, remember to click 'Track It!' so that you don't miss next week's batch. We guarantee you'll be ready for more seven days from now. Enjoy!
