Friday Freebie

It came all the way from ancient Greece, but it's Godly and it's here at last...

We have been waiting for so long for fresh content to arrive on the PSP Store and our patience has been wearing perilously thin. For the last few weeks, our nerves have been balanced on tenterhooks, our fists ever clenched with inner tension and tightly coiled rancor, breathing heavily and ready to explode into an apoplectic rage at any moment. For skinny weeds like us, it's not a very dignified sight.

It's good news then that we can exercise some of our pent up frustrations by sticking to what we know (i.e. pressing buttons) and taking to the streets of Attica to chaos blade the toga, sandals and philosophy out of everything that moves. What are we talking about? A demo of God Of War: Chains of Olympus of course, you lucky, lucky people. Look no further than our Demo section for a link to the download page.

However, on DS this week, pickings are predictably slim but to try to offset the imbalance we have started rounding up all the flash demos we can find for our Demo section. There are three up there so far, NEVES, Exit DS and Sonic Rush Adventure but we could do with your help in finding some more, so if you spot any be sure to let us know in the Freebies section of our forum.

And lastly another recommendation from our mobile gaming cohorts over at Mobile Rated. This week we are opting for Taxi, a game that is about as close to GTA as mobile gamers are going to get this week, in which you drive around a city picking up fares to make cash or going on a murderous rampage, mowing down pedestrians with your big yellow death machine. Sounds like fun to us, and surely worth a download for the asking price of nothing. The download link can be found here.

That's it for now. Thanks again to one of our forum's greatest assets, Hidden Away who has been adding links to our Freebies section, making it worthwhile for you to regularly check back for any updates.

Besides that, as ever, there's the Freebie Archive which is struggling under its own weight in freebies and, of course, there is our aforementioned Demo section to keep an eye on too. Truly we don't mind saying we're too good to you lot.

But how could we resist eh? Your thanks will be more than expressed if you click 'Track It!' to make sure that you catch next week's Friday Freebie as soon as it goes live. Enjoy all that free stuff, and have a good weekend.
