Okay, you sniveling peasants freebie savvy master race of pocket gaming darlings, it's time for another slap up meal of handheld digital dinner on us.

This week we've been working our fingers to the bone, buffing our new Demo section to a blinding sheen and adding all sort of new bits and pieces. Sadly there are no new PSP demos to speak of. Gasp, indeed.

Fortunately, however, after a few handfuls of muesli and a sound beating, our admin chimp kicked into full forward charge and added every English language PSP demo in existence (that we know of, at least) to the section. He is currently vacationing at the local bus shelter as a reward (it's draftier than the dungeon but nowhere near as dark).

We also discovered a veritable hoard of Gameloft mobile demos and set about adding some of the best and brightest to the section too, including Assassin's Creed and Ferrari World Championship. We will be adding plenty more before next week's Friday Freebie so keep a lookout throughout the week for those.

Elsewhere on mobile we have another recommendation from Mobile Rated, this time for the mud-caked SuperMoto Extreme. That's two pretty strong adjectives in the title there, so do let us know if the game lives up to its name by leaving a comment in the forum, where you'll also find a link to the download page.

And now, just in case you thought we'd lost our knack for hunting down freebies in the wilds of the internet, it's time for something outside of the shimmering heaven-like climbs of our glorious site.

Actually, maybe we shouldn't take credit for this one. For some reason we'd never considered iTunes and podcasts as a resource for freebies until this week. After spotting a recommendation in the Freebies section of the forum (thanks for that HiddenAway – great work all-round on that post) our open palm promptly met our forehead accompanied by a comedy 'Thwack!' sound. We then scurried off to iTunes and discovered hour upon hour of DS and PSP related podcasts.

Many of them haven't been updated in a while, but of those still being maintained we found DS London, DS WiFi, DS: Dual Screen Radio and DS: Life Podcast.

On the PSP there were fewer discussion-based podcasts, with most of them focusing on reviews, something that readers of this site will obviously have no need for. Tsk. Even so, just in-case you prefer your reviews delivered orally and can't find an obliging friend or relative to read our site aloud to you, then The Beyond PSP Podcast is worth a listen.

All of the above can easily be found by typing the name of the podcasts into the iTunes search window and then clicking 'Subscribe'.

Right, that's it for this week. Our site is positively brimming with freebies these days so remember to check the forum, the Demo section and the Freebie Archive if you find yourself at a loose end throughout the week. And don't forget to click 'Track It!' to be sure to catch next week's edition.
