As far as superpowers go, a preternatural sixth sense for sniffing out freebies isn't half bad – but Pocket Gamer would much rather be gifted with some sort of high-kicking crime fighting acrobatic skills such as those possessed by the protagonist of today's first freebie.

Agent HITLESS (who we are guessing actually does quite a lot of hitting) is the all-alone and on-the-run hero of a new digital graphic novel.

The premise is fairly standard anti-hero stuff; a black-masked shadowy superhero, Agent HITLESS is out to reveal the truth about a shady organisation he used to work for. Agent HITLESS knows just enough for his ex-employers to want to include a large helping of death along with his P45, and the only person who can help him is a plucky young journalist whose past is not all that it seems.

There are two lengthy editions of the graphic novel series already available free for the PSP, iPod and Zune from the impressively flashy official website, with more set to arrive in due course.

Next up, Gyakuten Saiban 4 – or Phoenix Wright 4 as it is known so far in the West – presents the DS with its first legit freebie in weeks. The game, which Japanese DS owners have been enjoying since April 12th but which hasn't arrived on the shores of any English-speaking countries yet, is available in flash demo form on Capcom's website.

The only snag is that it is in Japanese as is almost always the case with DS flash demos. Help is at hand however, as the clever chaps over at court-records.net, a Phoenix Wright fan site, are hard at work translating and coding an English version of the demo. So far they have only got as far as about two minutes past the intro, after which point all of the text turns into question marks, but definitely worth a bookmark for die-hard fans, as the translation is bound to be finished before the full game is released here.

Last of all, a quick reminder about a new ad-funded mobile games portal that we covered earlier in the week. Mobile content company Miyowa has launched an ad-funded mobile games portal in conjunction with French operator, Bouygues Telecom.

The four games available initially are Fight Girl, Sudoku Classic, Ultimate Battle Star and BabyBomber, with more promised soon, and as the portal is ad-funded all of the games are free.

Right, that's it for another seven days. Click 'Track It!' for more free stuff next week, or scroll down our Freebie archives.
