| Friday Freebie

Although we would love to give you chocolate eggs, bunnies and chocobos if we could, we can't, so instead for Easter Friday we're going to give you what we do every Friday; freebies for your pocket electronics. Not quite as tasty, but definitely much less messy than a Cadbury's Cream Egg.

SnowboarderA while back EMI announced a deal with Sony to bring music videos to the PSP via a new service called PSP Playlist. Although not quite the iPod baiting service the PSP could really do with, PSP Playlist does offer something that Apple does not: free stuff.

The PSP Playlist offers a wealth of chargeless goodies, including music videos from Paul Oakenfold and legendary tour DJ for The Fall, James Sannings. There are also some cheeky girls gone wild videos, and an assortment of snowboarding short films featuring the world's best fearless lunatics.

As for mobiles, there is just no stopping the flood of free games heading handsetward these days; separating the absolutely great from the unspeakably awful is becoming increasingly difficult. There are however diamonds in the rough – if you know what you're digging for.

Falling HeadsNobody would have guessed that Under Siege Studio's wonderfully daft Head on a Stick would ever spawn a sequel; there are only so many places a developer can go with a game that's core mechanic revolves around, well, balancing heads on sticks. But convention is not a tenet that Under Siege Studio apparently cares for, and as such this week saw the unexpected arrival of Head on a Stick's spiritual successor, Falling Heads.

The game – which is all about catching falling heads in a cardboard box – shares its predecessor's acute sense of the absurd as well as its lack of a price tag. The game can be downloaded in full and for free from free mobile games site RumbleX.

That's it for this week; click 'Track It!' to be sure of catching more freebies next Friday.
