Put your wonga, moolah, clams, fahzooles, spondoolies, dough, beans, bread, gravy, green stuff, green backs, long greens, dead presidents and jangle away. It's Friday, the day of the Friday Freebie, and that means your money is no good here at Pocket Gamer.

MojpittanThis week the DS gets its first look in on the Friday Freebie for a while with a new web-based demo of Mojipittan. There is a snag however in that just like the Professor Layton demo we covered earlier, it's all in Japanese. Not only that but Mojipittan is a crossword game, so unless you feel confident you could take part in a Japanese version of Countdown the demo may be a little baffling.

If you're feeling slightly dejected by your inability to understand Mojipittan you could do worse than head over to Gnese to download the latest Heroes DS comic book – it's all in English. We've covered this site before in the Friday Freebie, but there have since been loads of new chapters added, and it's well worth a repeat visit.

As for the PSP, we just can't stop unearthing demos. This week we found a site that details not only all of the Western demos ever officially released, but also a few of the Japanese ones too.

There are demos of Bounty Hounds, Block Club and also a file claiming to be LocoRoco 2, which as it turns out is just LocoRoco. It's a different level from any of the other LocoRoco demos, however (that's now five LocoRoco levels available for free download by our count).

The mobile Settlers meets Civilization strategy fest Townsmen 4 was given a more than respectable Silver award in our review this week.

For those of you who don't like just jumping onto a franchise willy-nilly, preferring instead to methodically work through a series, Gamejump has all of the Townsmen titles available for download, and as always they cost zilch.

There's Townsmen 1, 2 and 3 as well as the slightly less cerebral (we know this because it features a character called Poopsy the pig) Townsmen Racing.

With so much free handheld gaming to be had, you'll be able to fritter your cash away on vice and sin this weekend. Enjoy!
