Friday Freebie (Sunday edition): Bleach: Heat the Soul 6 gets a bold on...

You thought we’d forgotten about you, but you were wrong. Last week we were feeble and this week we’re late, but we know you don’t mind.

We’re like that lovable half-wit friend you’re forever forgiving, mostly because his scatterbrained approach to life reminds you of what a self-assured, upwardly mobile person you are. Targeted esteem building is just one of the services we offer.

The other much more important one is freebies, which this week we're in no short supply of. For the PSP, there’s a groovy add-on for the anime fist, foot and fireball-'em-up, Bleach: Heat the Soul 6.

The add-on has been released in Japan, but it’s accessible in this hemisphere, too. We’ve no idea what it includes, but at 2MB we're guessing it’s not a major update. Still, can’t knock it when it’s free, so if you own Bleach: Heat the Soul 6 and fancy some new content, head over the PSP Demo Centre and snag yourself a copy.

If you're a DS fan, you could hardly have failed to realise that the much lauded Scribblenauts is finally here. As is the wont of such big ticket titles, the game is accompanied by its own website, which has a surprising quantity of decent freebies housed within its pleasing pastel confines.

There’s a wallpaper, a widget, a screensaver, icons, ringtones and email signatures to be had, all of which are at Warner Bros’s pleasure and won’t cost you a brass farthing. Go on, jump on the bandwagon...

That leaves us with only the iPhone gaming podcast and the free iPhone games Trawler Report to direct you to, before adding that you really ought to check out the Freebie Archive once in a while. It’s surely one of the greatest online resources of its kind.

That’s all from this week’s tardy weekend edition of the Friday Freebie. Check back next week for a punctual and hopefully packed fresh platter. Click ‘Track It!’ to be sure not to miss it.
