Friday Freebie: Presenting... almost nothing

So you came here looking for freebies and found nowt. Yep this is late, no denying it, but that’s because, to be quite frank, there's very little to report. On this occasion the best things do not come to those who wait - those who wait get bitterly disappointed.

On the PSP we have Half Minute Hero, which sounds like a derogatory handle for a poorly performing would-be Casanova, but is in fact a new PSP game coming to pretty much every territory, except the one most of you are in: Europe.

The game’s availability on the PSP Store reflects that so you are going to need a foreign account to snare a download. Those PSP Minis can’t come soon enough - let’s hope Sony is planning something to counter the App Store’s Lite offerings, then we’ll be back in business.

Those of you looking for something new to fondle on your DS can head to the Nintendo Channel via a Wii and grab demos of Mega Man Star Force 3, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and Classic Word Games. Hurry, they all expire on the 13th.

As for the iPhone...

We almost can’t bring ourselves to say (simply because we are weary), check out The Trawler Report and the iPhone gaming podcast, both of which are free. That’s it for now - all there’s left to do is issue a full and unreserved apology for this utterly wretched and feeble excuse for a Friday Freebie.
