Friday Freebie: Free Nintendo web page decorations...

| Friday Freebie

We’re going for some non-conventional freebies this week, both of them web based, but bear with us.

The first is for Nintendo lovers (and by extension, DS owners). If you are still sticking to your MySpace guns over the Facebook social networking leviathan, you can grab some nice Nintendo themed MySpace layouts for from from WiiLoveMario.com.

All you need to do is copy and past the embed code provided for each layout into the About Me section of your MySpace page and hey pesto: a Mario splattered profile is yours. Many of the layouts are animated too, which is nice, and every single one of them is free.

The PSP’s web browser might be sadly lagging behind more user friendly options on other, unnamed handheld devices, but that doesn’t mean it should be ignored completely. In fact, if you have any sort of web design knowhow, you might fancy having a stab at turning the tide by creating some of your own PSP tailored web pages.

How do you do this? With a free PSP web page tool kit of course. The Windows program, PSP Homepage Studio 2.0 is packed with templates, images and even free hosting options which is pretty fantastic.

Despite being free, PSP Homepage Studio 2.0 isn’t for everyone - expect to need at least a smidgen of hyper textual markup language knowledge handy (HTML) if you want to make use of this.

Don’t forget you can get our iPhone gaming podcast for free every Wednesday from iTunes (and loads of other places) plus our Freebie Archive and Demos section are both always bursting with costless content that you might have missed.

That’s it for now, click ‘Track It!’ to be alerted as soon as the next batch of freebies goes live.
