Freesky Online on the iPhone, or in the Palm Pre of your hand?
Developer weighing up which mobile platform to choose
The browser-based MMOG Freesky Online is an epic RPG that drops you into a fantasy world of imperial ambitions, battling airships and grand armies vying for control of the world - and it's preparing to go mobile.
It seems the developer, IGG, was working on an iPhone port when the Palm Pre launched, and now can't make its mind up as to which platform is more suitable.
Presumably the iPhone wins in terms of its gamer base, but by the sounds of things the WebOS is far better suited to Freesky Online's style. Chances are we'll see the game on both platforms at some point, but it's interesting to see Palm once again enticing developer over to its cause.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
