Abandon Interactive Entertainment has revealed that the beta test for its Freaky Creatures massively multiplayer online game will kick off on 15th July.

We've written about the game several times, most recently with a hands-on preview. The game lets you build various beasties, then use them to battle other players' creatures.

"There are a lot of eager players who want to get their hands on this exciting new cross-platform MMO game, and we are delighted to give them the first look," says Abandon president and COO Jamie Ottilie.

The company hasn't announced whether the mobile aspect will be part of the beta test - the game will in theory let people battle it out from their PCs or their mobiles.

However, Abandon is giving away a nifty Alienware Area-51 m15x laptop to one lucky person applying for the beta test. To get involved, you'll need to click here and register.
