Supermono's highly anticipated futuristic freemium racer Forever Drive has accelerated onto the App Store as a Universal game for iPad and iPhone.

On one level, Forever Drive plays out like a conventional arcade racer in that you speed around the neon-tinged city against the clock, dodging traffic and collecting bonuses.

Once you've accumulated enough miles on the "streets of the future", you can unlock cars, paintwork, licence plates, and buildings.

Yes, that's right: buildings.

Endless road

Thanks to the game's unique track editor, you and the rest of the Forever Drive community can construct your own death-defying courses. These circuits can then be uploaded to the cloud, whereupon Supermono stitches them together into one seamless raceway.

Forever Drive is available for download from the App Store now on iPhone and iPad, and is absolutely free.
