Australian mobile games developer Firemint has revealed that its Flight Control iPhone game has now sold more than 700,000 downloads.

To celebrate the fact, the company has published a 16-page PDF revealing the stats from a month's worth of sales, between March 24th and April 25th.

They reveal that 57 per cent of downloads came from the US, while 17 per cent came from the UK. At its peak, the game was selling more than 35,000 downloads a day.

The game actually started off as a side-project for Firemint, before catching fire on the App Store.

It's just received its first update, incorporating the developer's Cloudcell platform for online high scores, including a location-based feature letting you see what scores people near you have been getting.
