Firemint's line-drawer Flight Control Rocket blasts onto the iPhone and iPad

Firemint's line-drawer Flight Control Rocket blasts onto the iPhone and iPad

The next instalment in Firemint's addictive Flight Control series of line-drawing games, Flight Control Rocket, has flown onto the App Store.

Just like in the original Silver Award-winning Flight Control, your mission is to successfully guide a variety of different craft to landing strips without them crashing into one another.

This time around, though, your aircraft take the form of rockets, and the landing strips you're aiming for are bays of a huge spaceship.

You even get three chances to make mistakes in this sequel, so you won't see a Game Over screen straight away should one of your craft explode.

Blast off!

Your mission takes place across a variety of game modes and "a near endless number of stages" - all of which allow you to compete with other players on Game Center leaderboards and to unlock shiny achievements.

You can grab Flight Control Rocket, which is optimised for the new iPad's Retina display, from the App Store as a Universal app for 69p / 99c.
