We already took a quick look at iFishing on the iPhone, and now we have Flick Fishing reeling itself into the App Store. According to developer Freeverse, this will be the second in the "Flick Sports" series and looks to be quite the catch.

All the motions of the tackle-heavy sport are played out physically using the handset. Flicking either the accelerometer or the touchscreen to cast a line, moving the bait around by tilting and reeling your prey in using a circular motion.

What's interesting about this fishing game are the six different environments in which you can cast a line, including the ominous sounding (and looking, judging by the screenshots) Waves of Doom, which takes you deep sea fishing in the middle of a storm.

Check out the vid below, then tie a maggot to the 'Track It!' button to make sure you get a nibble as more Flick Fishing news lands.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
