A demo version of racing game FlatOut: Head On will be made available on February 22nd, just under a month before its release.

The demo includes three levels from the game's Carnage mode – one Race, one Destruction Derby and one Ragdoll Stunt – reports Eurogamer.

These will be playable for an unlimited amount of time but you won't be able to save your progress to then use in the the full game, or unlock other features.

Empire seems pretty confident FlatOut: Head On is going to hit the spot with gamers and its producer has previously boasted to us about its realistic physics engine and brilliant ragdoll stunts, as well as how much fun it is to play. The fact it's prepared to let people get hands on with a free demo of the game a few weeks before its March 14th release date shows it has faith in the finished product.

We have too, and will have our first impressions of the game for you soon.
