Threatening to send someone to sleep with the fishes is a well-known movie Mafia threat, but we didn't realise it was because the fish are in the Mob too.

However, Impossible Games' new mobile title features an ex-mafia fish called Freddie, which has conjured up irresistible mental images in our head of fish shouting, "F*** you, you f***ing snook!" at each other.

(A snook is a kind of fish. That rhymes with mook. See what we did there?)

Anyway, the game is called Fishy Business, and it stars Freddie and a police detective fish called Adam, who have to wander through 30 underwater levels to rescue Adam's fiancee from a fishy mafioso boss.

Impossible is promising accessible controls and glossy presentation. "There was a point in the development of the game where we thought we could just as well skip the whole interactive part and make a J2ME-based mobile cartoon movie instead!" says COO Miklós Csémy.

Thank goodness the team didn't. Anyway, the game is pretty much finished, but Impossible hasn't announced who'll be publishing it, or when it'll be out. Stay tuned. Or tuna'd.
