Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer goes mobile
Take on Dr Doom and chums in this superhero adventure
You can't beat a bit of Marvel movie mania. Recent years have seen a series of big-screen blockbusters based on Marvel's comic superheroes, with the latest being Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Like its predecessors, the film is getting its own spin-off mobile game courtesy of Hands-On Mobile.
Your task? Why, to save the Earth from death and destruction, of course. As usual. This time it's Dr Doom who's trying to take over the planet, aided by "a mysterious intergalactic threat". Which sounds intriguing.
The mobile game features five mini-games, each based around a different superhero. So you have to dodge meteors as the Silver Surfer, deactivate security traps as Mr Fantastic, smash tanks up as The Thing, see off a bunch of robots as The Invisible Woman, and destroy missiles as The Human Torch.
Complete all of them, and you'll unlock a sixth mini-game, which lets you save the world from Dr Doom while taking to the skies in the Fantasticar.
Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer is out now, and we'll be bending our superhero writing powers to a review for you shortly.
