Fame struts its stuff on App Store

Twenty-nine years on, it's time to go back to the New York High School of Performing Arts.
Apparently, though, it's now called the Fiorello H LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.
Catchy.
Still, the movie remake (technically a reinvention) of 1980s favourite Fame for a 2009 audience follows the same basic pitch, as a diverse group of students try to see if they have what it takes to become a star.
Thankfully, things are easier on iPhone, with the rhythm-action Fame game having you tapping and sliding away on your touchscreen in time to licensed tracks from the film.
Facebook and Twitter integration means you can upload your scores for the world to see.
