Falling Heads topple onto mobile

Don't panic like a headless... Oh.

Okay, bear with us on this one, it's a bit gruesome. A while back, developer Under Siege Studio released Head On A Stick. It was a casual mobile game that saw you balancing, yes, heads on sticks. It wouldn't be allowed in Covent Garden, you know.

Anyway, the folks at Under Siege have presumably spent their time since then wondering what happens to the heads once they topple off the sticks. Are they eaten by rats? Employed as footballs by cockney street urchins? Used as ingredients on Ready Steady Cook? We just don't know.

Well, we do now. They're caught in a cardboard box. At least, that's what happens in the studio's follow-up game, which is called Falling Heads (a title that has us dreaming of the best tribute band in the world ever, alternating between The Fall and Talking Heads songs).

You have to move the box left and right to catch heads before they hit the ground, although you can grab a stick and, erm, pop them if you can't be arsed. Oh, and there's anvils and 'fiery hell heads' thrown in to complicate things, too.

Up to four players can play using a pass-the-handset competition mode, and the game supports online high scores.
