At a steady speed

Free-to-play title Volkswagen Think Blue. Challenge drives onto iOS and Facebook

Hamburg-based developer Fishlabs and car manufacturer Volkswagen have just released a new racing game called Volkswagen Think Blue. Challenge, which you can download from Apple's App Store as a Universal app completely free of charge.

You can also play it for free on Facebook, by the way.

Shockingly, your first aim in this title isn't to beat your opponents and earn new track records. Instead, your aim is to drive as economically as possible and pass each track's finishing line with as much fuel left in your car's tank as possible. I know.

So, you'll have to think carefully about maintaining a steady speed as you take a spin around some tracks in a Volkswagen Polo BlueMotionTechnology. This means using your brakes as judiciously as possible and making full use of downhill sections.

Competition time

If you live in one of the countries listed below this article and you manage to nab one of the top 20 places on this game's leaderboards, you'll be eligible to enter the real Think Blue. World Championship, which is set to take place from November 24th - 28th.
