Gamasutra's fortnightly examination of the fastest-growing Facebook games has - once again - seen EA's life simulation title The Sims Social top the list, attracting around 7.5 million new players this week.

That makes The Sims Social the fifth biggest title on Zuckerberg's social network, with a total of 30 million players signing on since it launched around a month ago.

Ubisoft's The Smurfs & Co sits in second place, having managed to drag in almost 1.7 million new users over the past seven days, with Zynga's popular FarmVille recruiting 1.1 million new agriculturists in the same period.
