FaceFighter hits a million downloads

Even in the frictionless environment of the App Store, a million downloads remains a substantial number.

The latest app to reach that total is Appy Entertainment's FaceFighter, which was released in July 2009.

In this you can input the face of your victim and them beat them to a pulp on your touchscreen, while the most recent version enabled Bluetooth multiplayer.

Of course, the wider issue of how many of those downloads were distributed between the free Lite version and the full paid version (currently 99c) hasn't yet been announced.

Past evidence would suggest something like 75:25 split however.

The full version of FaceFighter is available now for 99c or 59p.

Hit the Buy It! button to go direct to the App Store; or click here to get the free Lite version.
