If you're wondering why your bullet-hell-loving friend isn't answering his phone today, it may well be because he's currently suffering a fate worse than death for a shooter fan.

Due to an error with the current of Espgaluda II for iPhone, Cave has issued a new update (version 1.1.2) that resets the scores of the leaderboards. Yes, all of them.

Cave took the decision after it was found that you could manipulate the scoring in version 1.1.1, thus making it possible to post ridiculous points totals.

The update only applies to the iPhone version of Espgaluda II, so I presume the iPad version is safe for now, despite the top score on iPad being a whopping ten digits larger than the second-place score.
