As one of the veterans companies of Mac games development, it's good to see Pangea at the forefront of iPad releases.

Indeed, founder Brian Greenstone is very positive about the whole thing.

"Our plan is to eventually release iPad versions of every one of our iPhone apps," he explains.

"The iPad has huge potential to change the portable video game industry, and we're really excited to be involved with it. I think we're on the cusp of something truly revolutionary."

To-date, the studio has released five iPad games. Perhaps best known is the remake of its water-based physics puzzler Enigmo.

Enigmo Deluxe has several new features, the most important of which is the built-in level editor that allows you to create, edit, and play you own levels.

The game also comes with over a dozen free level packs, including both of the Kid Packs, which were paid add-ons in the original iPhone. This means that in addition to the 50 standard levels, Enigmo Deluxe comes with over 400 more free levels.

The other four Pangea iPad games released are racer Cro-Mag Rally and action-adventure games Bugdom 2, Otto Matic and Nanosaur 2.

These latter three have been enhanced with more enemies, improved graphics, and a new feature that allows you to customise the layout of the game controls on the screen so their position best suits the way you want to hold and interact with your iPad.

Enigmo Deluxe, and the iPad versions of Cro-Mag Rally, Bugdom 2, Nanosaur 2, and Otto Matic are available now, priced $9.99, €7.99 or £5.99.
