Why aren't there more proper fantasy RPGs on the App Store?

There's loads on mobile, but to date it's been up to the likes of Korean publishers such as Gamevil and Com2uS to provide ye olde worlde levelling up fun for iPhone and iPod touch.

Still, Canadian outfit Big Blue Bubble is now getting in on the act with its award winning role-playing game, Elven Chronicles.

As you might expect, it puts you in the shoes of a young knight, who's fighting to discover the secrets of his forgotten past, and a charismatic elf on quest of self redemption.

Offering a massive 20 hours of captivating story, vast territories to explore, randomly generated dungeons, and hand drawn enemies and characters, Big Blue Bubble promises it will keep the most seasoned RPGer engaged.

Elven Chronicles is due to be released sometime in September.
