The PSP Mini game Echoes, developed by Halfbrick, has enjoyed a permanent price drop from £2.49 ($2.99, €2.49) to £0.99 ($0.99, €0.99) on PSN.

The reduction is to celebrate Halfbrick’s milestone of four PlayStation Minis released (the other three being Rocket Racing, Age of Zombies and Blast Off), and makes Echoes the cheapest PSN game currently available.

Here’s hoping other developers feel the need to compete.

The game is a topdown action puzzler in which the player controls Charlie, an art student transported to a dream world of bizarre and surreal levels.

Collecting crystals whilst avoiding her titular Echoes, which spawn and follow the player’s previous movements, is key to progress.
