EA has today released more screenshots for its child-focused forthcoming title, EA Playground.

We've already brought you news of the game, with info on how it will feature those good, clean, fun games kids play such as spitball and tether ball. And our hands-on preview revealed how it'll all work on DS, with the different children in the playground representing various sports and games.

These new screenshots, though, show two games not previously seen. One apparently involves catching butterflies with a net – something you didn't very often see kids doing at our school; they were to busy seeing how hard you could kick a football at passing first years.

The other looks like a good old fashioned Micro Machines-style remote control car race. Always fun, especially in multiplayer.

EA Playground is still scheduled for a November 2nd release. We'll keep you up to date with any more of the playground games included as we find out about them. But it's increasingly looking like there won't be a happy slapping event – possibly a wise decision.
