Finnish developer Rovio's games have always had a cinematic feel, and newie Dragon & Jade is no exception. You play two characters – Dragon & Jade – who run a detective agency in 1930s Shanghai.

Your task is to hunt down a stolen statue in order to bag a big reward. Rovio promises a blend of oriental intrigue, film noir and Hollywood glamour, which sounds all very appealing.

Gameplay-wise, it's an isometric adventure that sees you exploring various locations, talking to other characters, solving puzzles, and getting lairy with anyone who gets in your way. Apparently Jade's the talker and Dragon's the fighter, so you'll need to alternate between both characters to progress.

The game will be published by Namco Bandai Networks Europe, and is shaping up nicely. Check the video below for a squizzle at the gameplay, and click 'Track It!' to get an email alert when we review it.
