Everybody will be wifi fighting

Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai

Atari has announced the first game from the hugely popular Dragon Ball Z comic destined for the PSP. Taking full advantage of the handheld’s wireless capability, Shin Budokai promises spirited multiplayer action, as players pit their fighting skills against one another.

Fans of Dragon Ball Z will find all its essential characteristics present, including counter attacks, super high-speed bouts, flight and Ki management, as well as in-game transformations into more powerful forms of any of the 18 playable characters. (The developer responsible, Dimps, is no stranger to the DBZ universe having previously worked on console versions of the franchise.) Single players haven’t been forgotten either and should find a compelling story mode amidst the seven game options on offer.

Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai is currently planned for a March release.
