Dragon's Lair dated for DSiWare

Rumours of classic laserdisc adventure game Dragon's Lair coming to the DS were heard back at the beginning of October, when Dirk the Daring had his thunder stolen by a German ratings listing.

Anyway, developer Digital Leisure has set a date for Dirk's new DS adventure, with the game coming to Nintendo's handheld download service on December 21st in the US, and over here in Europe on 1st January 2010.

Dragon's Lair has been performing quite well on iPhone, and should prove to be a welcome use of DSi-shaped Christmas presents for any of you old gamers out there.

For that matter, a full-motion video game like Dragon's Lair would probably look particularly splendid on the DSi XL. Something to bear in mind if you decided to pick up a Nintendo's BBW next year.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
