After playing God and Devil, JoyBits gets agricultural with animal mixer Doodle Farm
Duck + herring = penguin?
Having experienced great success with its Doodle God and Doodle Devil games - 4.5 million downloads and 40 million games played - Russian developer JoyBits is doing something similar with Doodle Farm.
As before, you start with four elements, or in this case animals, which you combine or breed to create new ones.
Each animal you make - all of the more than 135 examples are real animals, so there's no crazy genetic engineering going on here - is backed by the in-game Wikipedia.
JoyBits explains Doodle Farm is more than just a reskin however. It's added more dynamic gameplay with an enhanced tips system compared to its previous releases. You can also use the alphabet to quickly select animals.
Doodle Farm is out now for iPhone and iPod touch, priced 99c, €0.79 or 69p.
You can see how it plays in the following video.
