One of the joys of the App Store is going to be finding gems from smaller developers alongside the big titles from established firms. Actually, we may have said that before. But it's still true.

Dizzy Bee is one of the games getting a lot of, ahem, buzz in the early days of iPhone gaming. It costs just £1.79 on the App Store, but it's getting rave reviews.

It sees you playing a bee, who has to collect flowers, avoid enemies and earn medals by leading his fruity mates to safety - all by The Power of Accelerometers - i.e. you tilting the iPhone.

It sounds and looks a bit LocoRoco to us, which isn't a bad thing. Along the way, you'll encounter whirlpools, windmills and a disappearing mystical island.

Intrigued? The game currently has an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 on the App Store, so is clearly attracting fans. To have a go, click here to go to its product page.
