If you've been - cough - dying to get your hands on Dead on Arrival, but have been excluded from the fun because you don't own an Xperia Play, then get ready to do that funny hand dance from 'Thriller'.

N3V Games's 3D zombie blast-a-thon has ended its period of exclusivity on the Xperia Play, and is now downloadable on all devices running Android 2.2 and above.

A twin-stick top-down shooter featuring the industry's most oversubscribed adversary, Dead on Arrival finds you locked in a hospital, whereupon wave after wave of the undead march lurch towards your delicious, fleshy face.

Paging Dr Death

Using a variety of traps, weapons and power-ups, you must keep your festering foes at bay by blowing off limbs and boarding up doors.

You'll have to tolerate some ads if you want to keep the Dead on Arrival experience cost-free, but there's always the option to cough up some coin and do away with them.

Dead on Arrival for the Xperia Play was the recipient of a very respectable Bronze Award from Pocket Gamer last month. Now playable on all Android devices, Dead on Arrival can be found on the Android Market here.
