Dual-stick zombie shmup Dead on Arrival has landed on Xperia Play slightly earlier than originally planned.

The game sees you defending yourself from waves of zombies inside a hospital, with the ability to board up entrances and earn money to unlock new areas of the building and find weapons upgrades. A ‘random box’ also shows up from time to time, allowing you to buy a random weapon.

The game is free to play, but there are several in-app microtransactions that allow you to remove ads and get more ‘Z bucks’ - the in-game currency.

Dead on Arrival is currently only available on Xperia Play at the moment, but it's due to be released on other platforms on December 17th, as the developer N3V Games told Pocket Gamer in an interview. You can grab it via the Android Market [buy].
