Rising damp can usually be dealt with by the application of special anti-fungal treatments and the installation of a damp course. But that DIY lesson won't help you survive in Dead Water, as it's the sea itself that's lapping at your ankles.

Set inside a sinking ship, in Dead Water you have to stay above the icy depths flooding into the doomed vessel and look for an escape route through the ships rooms and bulkheads, by climbing ladders and blowing open hatches with dynamite.

There are ten levels in total, and three difficulty levels – just in case you swim straight through them first time.

Dead Water is the first game to be developed by Tag Games, a brand new mobile studio. It's just gone on sale via the usual channels.
